All six face shapes
Oval
Balanced proportions, slightly longer than wide, with a softly rounded jaw. The most versatile shape — almost any hairstyle or glasses works.
Round
Equal length and width with soft, curved edges. Angular hairstyles and rectangular glasses add definition; avoid round frames.
Square
Strong, angular jaw with similar forehead, cheek and jaw width. Soften with longer hair, side parts and round or oval glasses.
Heart
Wider forehead and cheekbones tapering to a narrow chin. Side-swept hair and bottom-heavy or rimless glasses balance the proportions.
Oblong
Longer than wide with a straight cheek line. Layered, mid-length hair and deeper-than-wide glasses make the face look shorter.
Diamond
Narrow forehead and jaw with wide cheekbones. Fringes or volume on top, plus oval or cat-eye frames, balance the cheek width.
